Day 1: Casablanca Arrival - Rabat
Our Desert tour starts from your riad or hotel in Casablanca. The local driver from See Around Morocco , trusted travel company in Morocco will pick you and we travel towards Fes.
After pick up at the Airport, You will visit the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, the third largest mosque in the world, short drive to Rabat for overnight in your Riad/Hotel.
Day 2: Rabat - Chefchaouen
After breakfast we explore city tour of Rabat including the Oudaya kasbah, Mohamed V mausoleum, Hassan tower. WE continue to the wonderful blue city of Chefchaouen via the Rif Mountains where you will stay the evening. Overnight in the local riad.
Day 3: Chefchaouen Day Trip
Free day in city.
Day 4: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes
Following breakfast, we travel to the Roman city of Volubilis then we explore best of Meknes as one of Morocco ancient imperial cities, visit Bab Mansour gate, after lunch continue to Fes. We spend the night in a Riad/hotel.
Day 5: Fes City Guided Tour
We’ll pick you up from your hotel/riad for Fes Sightseeing guided Tour in air-conditioned vehicle & local bilingual guide.
Our fez tour will include : Andalusia mosque which Built at the end of the 9th century, tanners’ quarters where leather produced using only natural colors and the same centuries-old methods, El-Attarine Madrasa which built in 1325, The biggest religious Karaouine Mosque in the heart of the medina, Azouia Moulay Idriss open to non-Muslim, Nejjarine Museum, Royal Palace, Bab Boujloud gate.
We will not complete our tour until see the most important monuments . At the end, we’ll drop you off back to your hotel/riad.
Day 6: Fes - Ifrane - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert
We departure to the desert passing through the Middle Atlas Mountains, Ifrane and the cedar forest of Azrou, free time for optional lunch in Midelt.
Ahead, Ziz valley welcomes you with its palm trees, you will reach the Sahara Desert. Dinner and overnight in a traditional riad or kasbah hotel alongside the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Day 7: Erg Chebbi Excursion
After breakfast, we visit Khamlia village to listen Gnaoua musicians, then short drive will take you to Rissani for a visit to the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif; the founder of the Alaouite Dynasty, and experience the authentic local market.
We return to the hotel for camel trekking attending the sunset and spend the evening in a Sahara camp, enjoy a Moroccan dinner, listen to Berber music, you can join by drumming and dancing. Overnight in a private tent.
Day 8: Merzouga Desert - Todgha gorges - Dades valley
Wake-up to a spectacular sunrise in the desert. After breakfast in the camp we depart to Dades Gorges through many Berber villages. Visit and lunch in Todgha Gorges. Overnight with dinner in the hotel/riad overlooking Dades valley.
Day 9: Dades valley - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech
After breakfast, you will drive via the Rose Valley and Ait Ben Haddou, visit of this old berber village, where many movies filmed such as; The Mummy and Gladiator.
After lunch, you will continue on to Marrakech crossing the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi N’Tichka pass. Overnight in your Riad/Hotel.
Day 10: Marrakech City Guided Tour - Transfer to the airport
Enjoy a full day guided tour of Marrakech Medina with a local guide including: the Saadian tombs, Bahia Palace, Dar Si Said Museum, Ben Youssef Madrasa, Koutoubia Minaret, Majorelle gardens.
Afternoon visit Gueliz the modern area of Marrakech and the dynamic Djemaa el fna square. Depends on your departure time transfer to Marrakech or Casablanca airport for departure.
