Tour Program: 4 Day Tour From Marrakech to Sahara Desert

Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley
Our desert excursion begins at your Marrakech riad or hotel. You will be picked up by a local driver from See Around Morocco, a well-known Moroccan travel business, and will journey across the high Atlas Mountains.
We drive through Tizi N´Tichka port , we continue south to the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Famous films have been shot in this spectacular stage, like Gladiator , Obelix, The Mummy.
After lunch we continue to Ouarzazate also known as “The door of the Sahara desert” where we´ll see the Taourirt kasbah. We visit then Skoura palm grove; a beautiful place to contemplate more than 600.000 palms. We reach the Dades valley where we´ll spend the night in the hotel.
Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga - Camel Treking
Today after breakfast we will explore the Dadées Valley then we reach the Todra Gorges. Thanks to its rock sides with many uneven surfaces, these gorges are popular among rock climbers.
After a short walk in the Todra gorges we continue to Erfoud and to the desert to reach the spectacular dunes of Merzouga. We´ll take there a camel ride of one hour to our camp located in the middle of dunes (Erg Chebbi). Before dinner we´ll see the sunset at the top of a dune.
Day 3: Erg Chebbi - Rissani - Ouarzazate
Today wake up early to see the beautiful sunrise behind the border between Morocco and Algeria, then enjoy a camel ride back to the lodge where we will have breakfast and a hot bath. We then continue to Ouarzazate via Rissani where we stop a while to visit the souk (market).
It is considered the largest traditional market throughout the South of Morocco. We continue to the Todra Gorges, Dades Valley, the Valley of Roses, the oasis of Skoura and arrive at Ouarzazate for the night in a hotel.
Day 4: Ouarzazate - Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
Today on the last day of our Marrakech Desert tour, we will explore Ouarzazate, by visiting Taourirt Kasbah, and the Cinema Studios and then cross the Tizi-N-Tichka mountain pass to arrive at Marrakech.
