Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen
Our Desert tour starts from your riad or hotel in Tangier. The local driver from See Around Morocco , trusted travel company in Morocco will pick you and we travel through the Rif Mountains.
We departure to Chefchaouen, a town founded as a secret mysterious place from which to attack the Portuguese installed on the north coast. Was totally banned from entering the village to Europeans until the arrival of the Spanish troops in 1920. Arrival in Chefchaouen and afternoon to have a first contact with the city. Enjoy a night in comfortable riad or hotel.
Day 2: Chefchaouen
After breakfast and free day in Chefchaouen, holy city hung on the mountain , located within a natural biosphere reserve.
Its streets painted white and blue , kind and friendly people , offer visitors beautiful urban panoramas declining precious samples of local crafts and a peace and serenity that is hard to find today. Enjoy a night in comfortable riad or hotel.
Day 3: Fes medina
Today we will enjoy all that Fes has to offer, a guided city tour to visit the old Medina of Fes; a particularly exciting experience because when you enter the sprawling labyrinthine alleys you feel like you have stepped back in time.
Donkeys and mules are the only form of transport in these steep, narrow streets. Delicious scents come from the souk, where perfumes and spices are traded. Enjoy a night in comfortable riad or hotel.
Day 4: Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Merzouga
Today after breakfast we will depart for Merzouga through the Middle Atlas region. We will drive through Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland’ of Morocco and the cedar forests of Azrou where we can stop to hand feed the monkeys.
We will continue to Midelt where we will have lunch. We will then follow the Ziz River through the valley and stop to see the Ziz Gorges on our way to Merzouga.
Day 5: Merzouga - Khamlia - Erg Chebbi
Today we will explore the desert region and the marvel that is the Erg Chebbi desert dunes. We will make a circuit of the desert dunes where you will have the opportunity to see the nomad’s way of life and the amazing changing contrasts of the desert.
We will visit the ‘black village’ of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians. We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in the camp of hassan family. In the afternoon we will ride the camels to see the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in the desert camp.
We will have a traditional tagine dinner, drink delicious mint tea, listen to traditional berber music while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing Sahara desert.
Day 6: Merzouga - Rissane - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges
Today we will wake up early to see the spectacular sunrise over the dunes before making our way back to the hotel/riad for breakfast and a shower. We will go and see the Rissane market and cross the palm lined valleys of Tourog and Tinjdad to arrive at the Todra Gorge.
We will take a walk in the Todra Gorges and have lunch in a local restaurant before continuing to our accommodation in the Dades Gorge.
Day 7: Dades - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
After the breakfast we start the drive to the valley of the roses which blooms in April, taking some off-road inside the palm trees of Skoura where the architecture of the Kasbahs is spreading within the shadow of the palms.
We stop in Ouarzazate city for some picture of the Kasbah of Taourirt; as well as the cinema studios which are the high lights of the city of Ouarzazate, afterwards we head to Ksar Ait Ben Haddo which is an UNESCO world heritage, and most visited sight in the south, after the walking visit and lunch we take the road again crossing the High Atlas mountain via Tizi n Tichka pass 2260m. arriving Marrakech in the early evening.
Day 8: Marrakech city Tour
Today after breakfast at your accommodation, we will prepare for an exciting experience of exploring the magnificent city of Marrakech, our local guide will make sure to show you every important places, starting with : The Majorelle Gardens & Berber Museum, also The Rahba Kedima, a colourful market filled with a wide collection of spices from Cumin, Cinnamon, Saffron, Dried Pepper and more.
You will inhale different perfumes while walking through the market ; The Jewish Mellah, the Bahia palace, the magnificent mosque of Koutoubia, also la Minara, and finally the Saadian tombs. Enjoy a night in comfortable riad or hotel.
Day 9: Marrakech - Casablanca - Rabat
We will leave Marrakech toward Casablanca ones in this 1st economic capital will visit the Hassan 2 Mosque, one of the biggest mosques in the islamic world, then continue to Rabat, Visit the capital of Morocco where you can visit the Royal Palace, the mausoleum of Mohammed V, Hassan Tower. Enjoy a night in comfortable riad or hotel.
Day 10: Rabat - Asilah - Tangier
