Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen
Our Desert tour starts from your riad or hotel in Tangier. The local driver from See Around Morocco , trusted travel company in Morocco will pick you and we travel through the Rif Mountains.
We departure to Chefchaouen, a town founded as a secret mysterious place from which to attack the Portuguese installed on the north coast. Was totally banned from entering the village to Europeans until the arrival of the Spanish troops in 1920. Arrival in Chefchaouen and excursion in medina. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Chefchaouen - Roman Ruin - Meknes - Fez
Today morning we departure towards Ouazane , we explore Volubilis, then medina in Meknes and we arrive to Fez , one of the four imperial cities named by Marrakech , Meknes and Rabat. Fez is considered as Morocco most religious and cultural centre of the country. Enjoy a night in comfortable riad or hotel.
Day 3: Fes guided tour
Today after breakfast you will begin our guided tour of the Fes medina. It is one of the world’s largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruits. A visit to the King’s Palace, the tanneries, and potters are just a few places you will experience.
For lunch you may choose to eat in a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. We will continue the tour and we return to your hotel in the evening.
Day 4: Fes - Midelt - Merzouga desert camp and camel trek
Today after breakfast we leave for Midelt through the mountains and the cedar woods of the middle Atlas. We pass Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou an important handicraft centre specialised in the work of cedar wood.
After the Zad pass (2,178m) we arrive in Midelt for lunch and afternoon we will drive to Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz valley. Then we continue to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi for the desert tours. Dinner and over night in desert camp in Merzouga.
Day 5: Merzouga - Todra Gorge - Valley of Roses - Skoura - Ouarzazate
Today we departure to Rissani , then to the Ksar of Touroug framed by spectacular oasis. Then we reach Tinejdad Tinerhir and after lunch we walk through the gorges of Todra.
Then we go through the beautiful Dades Valley Boulmane and we visiti Kelâa I – Gouna – Rose Valley , in full bloom during the month of May. We arrive in Ouarzazate, we visit the Kasbah ,and you enjoy a night in comfortable riad or hotel with dinner.
Day 6: Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Talouet - Marrakech
Today we will explore the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou kasbah ( heritage by UNESCO). Then we continue our journey to the Capital of The Pasha of Marrakech visiting its kasbah Talouet. We arrive to Marrakech via Atlas mountains. Enjoy a night in comfortable riad or hotel.
Day 7: Marrakech city excursion
Today you will have a guided tour to discover Marrakech with a stroll in the labyrinth of the narrow streets of the Medina amongst its famous Souks and a visit to the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Marrakech.
